<p>PURPOSE:To prevent warpage, undulation, and crack from occurring by joining a ceramic sheet consisting of a high dielectric constant material and a low dielectric constant material. CONSTITUTION:In a multilayer ceramic substrate 1, a high dielectric constant layer 3 is provided at the upper and lower layers while holding a low dielectric constant layer 2. Further, the substrate 1 with a pair of external electrodes 4, an under-graze 5 consisting of an insulator, and a surface electrode 6 is baked at a low temperature for formation. The low dielectric constant layer 2 is formed by baking a low dielectric constant material for example in BaO-Al2 O3-SiO2 at approximately 1,000 deg.C and laminating ten sheets which are 100 pm thick and has a dielectric constant of 6epsilon. The high dielectric constant layer 3 consists of 10 sheets which are 20mum thick after baking a high dielectric constant material in, for example, BaTiO3-Nb-Co system at approximately 3,000 deg.C and has a dielectric constant of 3000epsilon, thus preventing warpage, undulation, and crack from occurring.</p> |
