<p>A cartridge manufacturing method comprises the steps of setting reel shafts, roller shafts, tape guides, etc., on a base plate; putting tape reels, belt rollers, etc., on the reel shafts and roller shafts; stretching a drive belt between the belt rollers; winding a magnetic tape around the tape reels; fitting a cover to the base plate; and forming marking holes for recognizing position through the magnetic tape wound around the tape reels. A device used for forming the marking holes includes a tape driving means for driving the magnetic tape wound around the tape reels, punching means for forming marking holes at prescribed positions after the tape is driven by prescribed amounts by means of the driving means, hole position detecting means for detecting the positions of the marking holes formed by the punching means, and controller for controlling the operations of the tape driving means, punching means, and hole position detecting means.</p> |
