An inlet or outlet connection is machined on the profiled material. The connection is located off can be from the centreline of the material. A stepped throughlet bore is machined in the housing. A bore for the operating spindle is drilled in the thickest part of the housing. The stepped operating spindle of the valve is mounted from the inside after which the valve body (5) with seals is assembled. After assembles of spindle and valve body a connection section (2) is braced or moulded on. A plate (12) in the form of a lead spring is mounted on the valve to compress packing (8) round the valve spindle.
