The invention relates to a container which is made from ice, such as for example a drinking glass or a dish. The invention also provides a device for handling a container, comprising a collection reservoir for melt water and a component which holds the container, and a device for producing a container, comprising an outside mould and an inside mould of smaller size which is to be placed in the outside mould, the outside mould and the inside mould, once they have been placed together, defining a space for forming the container made of ice. The production device may also be in the form of an assembly of devices. Finally, the invention also relates to a method for producing a container, consisting in filling a production device with a freezable liquid, freezing the device with its contents and taking the container out of the device.
