<p>The connector (10) has a base section (11) with a number of curved receptacles (15) separated by ribs (16). The flat cable has a number of cables (13a, 13b) connected together by thin flat sections. The cables lie in the receptacle area. The lid (12) has a number of connectors (19) of fork shape with flexible end prongs, attached to the top of the lid. Each prong slices through the outer of the multiple cable section as the lid closes, making cable connection with the inners (20a, 20b, 20c).
