PURPOSE:To decrease consumption of heat energy when a resin concrete is prepd. by mixing a heated aggregate and a thermoplastic resin material and melting the thermoplastic resin material with the aggregate heat. CONSTITUTION:A resin concrete manufacturing apparatus 10 has a heating means 12 for heating an aggregate and a mixing means 14 for mixing the aggregate and a thermoplastic resin material. The heating means 12 is pref. a heating oven. The heating oven 12 contains a cylindrical rotary trunk 16 and the aggregate fed in the rotary trunk 16 is heated by means of a flame of a burner 38 up to carbonizing or ignition temp. of a granular thermoplastic resin material. The mixing means 14 consists of a screw feeder and the inside is communicated with the inside of the rotary trunk 16 and is connected with a hopper 58 for feeding the thermoplastic resin material. The aggregate is brought into contact with the thermoplastic resin material in a screw feeder 14 and they are mixed and the thermoplastic resin is melted with heat of the aggregate to form a resin concrete. |
