PURPOSE:To obtain a direct positive photosensitive material having sufficient reversal property (high Dmax and low Dmin) by incorporating a specified compd. in the subject material. CONSTITUTION:The compd. shown by formula I is incorporated in the photosensitive material. In formula I, Z is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary for forming a 5-membered heterocyclic ring which is further condensed with a heterocyclic ring, R<1> is an aliphatic group, R<2> is hydrogen atom or an aliphatic or an aromatic group, at least one of the groups R<1>, R<2> and Z is alkinyl group, X is a pair ion for balancing an electric charge, (n) is a number necessary for balancing an electric charge. Thus, a picture having the high Dmax and the low Dmin is obtd., even if the photosensitive material is developed with a developer having a relatively low pH. |
