The housing for an electronic circuit consists essentially of a cooling frame (14) secured to the upper side (13) of the printed circuit board (10). This cooling frame (14) in the shape of a closed rectangle encloses the printed circuit board (10) and projects roughly vertically downwards therefrom. Components (11) which heat up considerably when the electronic circuit is in operation are arranged at the edges of the printed circuit board (10) in such a way that they lie against the inner sides of the cooling frame (14). These components (11) are secured to the cooling frame (14) by means of U-shaped spring components (26) guided over the top of said frame (14). The cooling frame (14) also forms the outer wall of the housing and is covered off by a top and bottom part.
