The proposed process for supplying water in ponds and aquaria with CO2 can be used to increase the CO2 supply and adapt it to requirements in a simple and environmentally acceptable way. According to this process, at least one carbonate-containing substance is mixed with at least one solid acid (3) and water (11) then added. A suitable device (1) for carrying out this process comprises a liquid chamber (5), a solid chamber (2), a connection (12) allowing liquid to pass between the two chambers (2, 5), and a gas outlet (15) on the solid chamber (2). |
