PURPOSE:To provide a laser light irradiating probe which cauterizes only the lesion and protects the surrounding sound tissue from heat damage. CONSTITUTION:Cooling circuits 10 and 11 guiding a cooling medium, a part 9 for expanding the cooling area with the cooling medium in the neighborhood of a cooling object without decreasing the speed of the flow of this cooling medium and a space formed by this part 9 for expanding the cooling area and a fiber 38 for guiding laser light guided into this space, are provided. |
