PURPOSE:To obtain wire washing equipment for a wire saw which makes it possible to improve the operability at the time of stretching of a wire or replacement of guide rollers and to make the main body of the washing equipment compact. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide rails 64 are provided in the vertical direction on a frame of the main body of equipment, while a washing tank 60 storing a washing liquid 74 is provided in the lower part of the frame 47 of the main body of the equipment. On these guide rails 64, a slider 62 sliding along the guide rails 64 is provided. Besides, the slider 62 is provided with guide rollers 19 guiding a wire 14 so that it may run through the washing liquid 74. By this constitution, the guide rollers 19 are made movable vertically. Since an operation can be conducted with the movable guide rollers 19 put outside the washing tank 60 at the time of stretching of the wire or replacement of the guide rollers, accordingly, the operability can be improved. Since it is unnecessary to make the washing tank rather large in consideration of a space for the operation, in addition, the washing tank 60 can be made small in size. |
