PURPOSE:To provide a waist molding fitting structure of an automobile door capable of surely preventing the removal of a waist molding, and preventing the deterioration of the rigidity of an outer reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:In a waist molding fitting structure of an automobile door, a general part 1A of a waist molding 1 is fixed to a flange 2A of an opening part of a door outer panel 2, and a molding end 1B of the waist molding 1 is fixed to a base part of a window frame part of the door outer panel using an end member. A plurality of fitting seats 5 projecting in the direction opposite to the door outer panel 2 are formed on a flange part 4a of an outer reinforcement 4 to be located in the door, a transverse slot extending in the longitudinal direction of the waist molding 1 is formed on these fitting seats 5, and a hooking claw 7 integrated with the general part 1A of the part corresponding to the fitting seats 5 is engaged with the transverse slot. |
