PURPOSE:To provide a rotational machining device which is able to prevent the movement of a tool holder in the direction of insertion or destruction of a dynamic balance even in high speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:In a rotational machining device 10 provided with a tool holder 12 for holding a rotational tool, a main spindle 14 in which an insertion hole for insertion/attachment of a shank part 18 of the tool holder is formed, and a drawing-in mechanism 19 for drawing the tool holder 12 into the insertion hole of the main spindle 14, a shank part 20 of the tool holder is provided with a shank part main body that is almost hollow and cylindrical and a core member 18 the outer surface of which is engaged with the inner surface of the shank part main body and which is connected to the drawing-in mechanism 19. In addition, a wedge means 31 is prepared between the outer surface of the core member 18 and the inner surface of the shank part main body, so that the shank part 20 expands in the radial direction due to wedge action when the core member 18 is drawn in by the drawing-in mechanism 19.
