COLOR INK-JET RECORDING METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a color ink-jet recording method capable of realizing an excellent recording quality free from feathering in black image region by eliminating white blurring causing the deterioration of image at the boundary between a color image region and a black image region, getting an excellent recording quality free from disturbance at the boundary of black and various color regions and compatibilizing a high-quality black recording and a high- quality color recording. CONSTITUTION:This color ink-jet recording method comprises the use of a black ink and plural color inks having recording medium permeation characteristics different from that of the black ink and the recording of a prescribed color image on a recording medium according to recording data. The ink to be used in the above method has a surface tension of <=40dyn/cm, a black ink bleeding ratio of <=2.5 and a color ink bleeding ratio of 2.5-3.5 on a plain paper.
