<p>PURPOSE:To bring both ends of a required part into contact with an article to be clamped, so as to achieve the prevention of torsion of a band member and the uniformization of clamping force, by forming the center part of this required part into a projecting parts projecting outward in the band member formed into a ring shape, and to be wound around the object to be clamped. CONSTITUTION:A metallic band member 12 to be wound around an article to be clamped is formed into a ring shape. Both ends of the band member 12 are bent outward from the ring by respective bent parts 15 and formed into respective erect flaps 14a, 14b. Moreover, the erect flaps 14a, 14b are tightened by a clamping screw 18 penetrating them, thereby the diameter is decreased. In such a screw-driven clamping band 10, the parts in the center part in the width direction of respective bent parts of respective erect flaps 14a, 14b or the part of the band member 12 in the vicinity of them are formed into projecting parts 20 projecting outward, so as not to be brought in contact with the article to be clamped. Thereby both ends of respective bent parts 15 are brought in contact with the article to be clamped, thereby the prevention of torsion of the band member 12 and the uniformization of clamping force are achieved.</p> |
