<p>PURPOSE:To measure a distance by selecting the arbitrary one of a plurality of targets. CONSTITUTION:A search/track controller 21 repeats an operation of first applying the output of a search voltage generator 11 to a modulator 1, setting a radar to a search mode for outputting a sawtooth FM transmission signal in which a slope time width is varied in response to a distance, obtaining the distance of the target from a distance data detector 12 when the controller 21 inputs a target detection signal from a control discriminator 9, and storing it in a memory 22 within a predetermined period. After the predetermined period is elapsed, it selects the arbitrary one of the plurality of the distances stored in the memory 22, outputs a switching command to a track mode to a signal switching unit 10 to meet the timing of generating the sawtooth FM transmission signal of a slope time width corresponding to the distance, and forms a servo loop of measuring the distance.</p> |
