The diode (13) is connected in line on a central copper wire (10) with far IR emitting spheres (11) and spheres (12) which emit electromagnetic waves. The ends of the device have copper caps (16,16') two which are also connected a double layer outer casing (17) with an inner far IR platinum layer (14) and an outer nickel layer (15). The mixture of far IR waves and electromagnetic waves is generated outside the casing and travels between the insert and the fuel tank wall. The two types of waves are mixed between the two layers of the casing and travel outwards changing the molecular structure of the petrol or light oil to provide an improved vaporisation rate with a reduction in exhaust products.
