The proposed spectacles for the prevention and treatment of acquired myopia comprise optical lenses (2, 3) mounted in a spectacle frame (1). The inner surface (15) of each lens (2, 3) is flat and at an angle to the longitudinal axis (14) of the lens, while the outer surface (16) is spherical and convex in relation to the flat inner surface (15). The total optical power of each of the lenses (2, 3) is (2.5 +/- 2.0) diopters + (0.75 +/- 0.5) diopters. The inner flat surface (15) of each lens (2, 3) is at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis (14) of the lens.
