The system for regulation or process control, where the process is defined in terms of limit characteristics, and where the process is described by linear equations in the working region uses signal level acquisition device or a device to acquire control parameters from the regulator system. The computer system is programmed by the input of process descriptions in the form of linear equations and boundary condition values of the signal levels directly or through determination of control parameters. The gain level changes,when acquired, are acquired at equidistant time intervals.
