<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently separate steam in an inorg. gas by bringing the inorg. gas into contact with a polymeric membrane consisting of a polysaccharide- based high molecular substance having an ionized ionic group. CONSTITUTION:The inorg. gas contg. steam and incorporated with >=1 kind among air, H2, O2, N2, He, Ar, CO2, etc., is brought into contact with the polymeric membrane consisting of a polysaccharide-based high molecular substance having an ionized ionic group such as chitosan sulfate, chitosan acetate, the sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose, and calcium alginate, and the steam in the gas is separated. The permeation rate of the polymeric membrane to steam is high, and steam can be efficiently separated by the membrane.</p> |
