<p>A frying device comprises a frying vessel for receiving a water bath (2) in the lower portion and an oil bath (1) in the upper portion and a heating means (3) in the upper portion as well as cooling pipes (4), wherein on at least one side of the frying vessel a recessed portion (5) is provided for air cooling the oil bath by increasing the surface on the outside of the frying vessel. A tank (6) is provided in the lower portion within the water bath (2) which tank (6) is provided with an opening (7) for receiving oil from the oil bath (1).
