PURPOSE:To input the selection number for a menu screen which is not displayed and execute a corresponding function. CONSTITUTION:One menu screen is outputted selectively among plural menu screens to a display device 102 and the selection number and a determination indication are inputted through an input device 101. Discrimination numbers corresponding to all or some of selection items that the data processor has are stored in an item discrimination number storage part 109 and when the discrimination number corresponding to a selection item of a menu which are currently displayed is inputted, corresponding data processing is performed by referring to the discrimination number. Consequently, if the menu screen which is currently displayed and the menu screen that the selected item belongs to are different, the desired item can be selected directly without requiring switching operation for the menu screens. Further, no special operation needs to be added, so a user never gets confused. |
