PURPOSE:To perform the high speed and high quality printing by a driving method which can reduce strokes without anything to do with the shape of an ink passage in a recording method of type of utilizing heat energy and jetting ink droplets toward a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:In a highly integrated head in which a heat resistor 3 is pulse heated to generate the fluctuating nuclear boiling in ink being in contact with the heat resistor and jet droplets out of an ink jet outlet 9, the jets of i,nk out of a nozzle line are driven successively and continuously in compliance with printing signals at a given time interval of 1muS or less alternately, and the time interval between the ink jet on an odd number line and the ink jet on an even number line i.s set 20muS or more. |
