PURPOSE:To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner or the like, which is capable of constituting a condenser as one part of the side wall of the main body without deteriorating a heat exchanging efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A condenser 2 is constituted of a part of the side wall of a main body 1 by extending a condenser 2, arranged at an upper part together with a condenser cooling fan 4, downward whereby the condenser 2 can be constituted of one part of the side wall of a main body 1 while the extended part of the condenser 2 is extended into the air duct of a fan 3 for cooling a compressor arranged together with a compressor 5 in the lower part of a main body whereby outside air is sent into the extended part by the compressor cooling fan 3. On the other hand, the compressor cooling fan 3 is surrounded by a condenser 2 whereby the condenser 2 can be cooled surely. |
