<p>The present invention relates to personal cleansing bar compositions comprising: A. from about 1 part to about 70 parts bY bar weight of a mild synthetic surfactant selected from the group consisting of sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium topped cocoyl isethionate, essentially saturated C15-C22alkyl sulfate, essentially saturated C15-C22alkyl sarcosinate, essentially saturated C15-C22alkyl glyceryl ether sulfonate, and mixtures thereof; B. from about 0.01 part to about 1 part by bar weight of a nonionic polymer; wherein the nonionic polymer is selected from the group consisting of (I) H(0[CH2]x)nOH, (II) (see formula above) and (III) mixtures thereof; wherein x is 2; and n has an average value of from about 2,000 to about 115,000 and wherein the pH is from about 4 to about 9. These bar compositions provide enhanced clinical mildness to the skin while maintaining good lathering, increased lather lubricity and lather creaminess.</p> |
