The microwave doppler module has a microwave oscillator (OSZ) coupled at its microwave signal output to a homodyne receiver (E). A signal representing the oscillator noise is tapped off and fed to an amplifier (V), before subtraction from the signal at the output of the homodyne receiver, to provide a noise-free doppler signal (Sd).Pref. a capacitor (C) and/or an isolator (I) is inserted between the microwave signal output of the oscillator and the homodyne receiver, the noise signal tap-off coupled to the amplifier via an inductance (SP).
