The field of application is aviation technology used in the transport of cargo in the passenger cabin of an aircraft. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the aircraft contains a luggage-cargo hold for containers in the fuselage, with a system for transferring them, and a passenger cabin. The floor of the passenger cabin is provided with rails to allow passenger seats to be moved. The aircraft is also equipped with an on-board system for transferring the containers from the cargo hold to the passenger cabin, a process involving the removal from the cabin of at least some of the passenger seats. In addition, the floor of the passenger cabin is also provided with a hatch closed off by flaps and through which the containers to be loaded can pass. The longitudinal rails in the floor of the passenger cabin are designed in such a way that roller tracks can be fitted to allow containers to move along them. The problem addressed by the invention is to facilitate transport of passengers, cargo and passengers together or cargo alone and to simplify the process of loading and unloading without adding weight to the aircraft structure.
