A materials grinding and processing machine (10) includes a sizing concave (24) having a sizing screen (20) contained therein. Ordinarily, the sizing concave (24) is pivotally (32) connected adjacent its upper end (26) to the frame (12) of the materials processing machine (10). To replace the sizing screen (20), a temporary pivotal connection (42) is made between the lower end (28) of the sizing concave (24) and the frame (12). The upper end (26) of the sizing concave (24) is permitted to swing away from the frame (12) to provide access to the sizing screen (20) from above. A hydraulic cylinder (34), coupled between the frame (12) and the sizing concave (24), can be selectively attached at different points (52 and 54) on the sizing concave (24) to move the sizing concave (24) and improve access, from above, to the sizing screen (20). |
