The baseplate (5) extends at right angles away from the backwall (1) of the dispenser housing. It forms the lower limit of the inside of the dispenser and has a frame holder (6) for detachably inserting a perforated plate (8) through which the coreless wound material web is passed. The material web has transverse perforations spaced out according to the required length of towel.A snap closure is formed by a row horizontally along the upper edge of the backwall of elastically and individually depressible tongues (18) which when the dispenser is closed with the lid (2) engaging round the sidewalls (3) of the backwall (1) engage with the upwardly pointing projections (19) in ports (20) in the lid. The tongues can be brought jointly into the disengagement position by a key (21) matching the number and-shape of the ports (20).
