<p>PURPOSE:To improve the taking-out property of jammed paper and to enhance the safety of a carrying time by providing the pivotal point of a guide cover on the main body inner side of a carrying path side in a paper passing direction which does not cross the carrying path. CONSTITUTION:The pivotal point R for turning and supporting the guide cover 7a is provided on the main body inner side of the carrying path 6a side in the paper passing direction Z which does not cross the path 6a of the side surface of a main body 2. The pivotal point S for turning and supporting the guide cover 7b is provided on the main body inner side of the carrying path 6b side in the paper passing direction Z which does not cross the path 6b of the side surface of a paper supply unit 3. Since the covers 7a and 7b are turned in a horizontal direction shown by an arrow X with the points R and S as a center, the surface of the paths 6a and 6b are perfectly exposed when the covers 7a and 7b are opened. Thus, the transfer paper 5 jammed on the paths 6a and 6b can be easily removed. Besides, since the outside surface of the device does not project when the covers 7a and 7b are closed, the device is made compact.</p> |
