PURPOSE:To produce a uniformly colored molded polypropylene resin foam by filling a mold with foamed colored polypropylene resin particles and thermally foaming the foamed particles in the mold, and to provide foamed colored polypropylene resin particles for producing such a molded foam. CONSTITUTION:Foamed colored polypropylene resin particles are obtd. by foaming, using an inorg. gas blowing agent, polypropylene resin particles colored with color pellets contg. 1-40wt.% color pigment. A colored molded polypropylene resin foam contg. the pigment in a concn. of 1.4X10<-2>-2.0X10<-6>g/cm<3> (per unit vol. of the molded foam) is obtd. by molding the foamed particles in a metal mold to the shape of the mold. |
