<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from reversing against a driver's will in the case of intending to start the vehicle on an ascending road of steep slope. CONSTITUTION:A device has a hydraulic transmission, clutch engaged when selected a forward running range, one-way clutch locked by engaging the clutch to attain a forward 1st-speed, brake locking the one-way clutch when engaged to impede rotating in a reverse direction an output shaft of a transmission 16, first hydraulic servo C-1 for engaging the clutch by supplying pressure oil and the second hydraulic servo B-1 for engaging the brake by supplying pressure oil. When pressure oil is supplied to the second hydraulic servo B-1, the brake is engaged to impede rotating in a reverse direction the output shaft of the transmission 16.</p> |
