APPARATUS FOR PURIFYING CAR EXHAUST GAS AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To arrange a purifying apparatus along a principal road or in the vicinity of a crossing to achieve the purification of car exhaust gas by sending the exhaust gas of a car into a box body having air suction and discharge ports and removing suspended dust by the org. adsorbent bed built in the box body while removing nitrogen oxide by a soil bed. CONSTITUTION:An air suction port 3 is provided to one surface of a box body 1 and an exhaust port 4 is provided to the opposite surface thereof and, further, a fan sending the exhaust gas of a car into the air suction port 3 is provided. A filter bed 15 filtering suspended dust in exhaust gas is provided on the side of the air suction port 3 of the box body 1 and a spoil bed 17 containing bacteria decomposing nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas is provided on the side of the exhaust port 4. The opening 6 and lid 7 for attaching and detaching both beds are provided to the top plate of a concrete block. The box body 1 is arranged along a principal road or in the vicinity of a crossing.
