<p>PURPOSE:To prevent internal fluid from leaking caused by a change in heating condition even after connection by disposing a holder on the inner surface of a main pipe and fastening tight the tip of a connecting part and a backplate provided on the tip portion of a branch pipe to form a seal between the main pipe and the branch pipe connected to the main pipe. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride made main header 1 is provided with an inserting hole 12 the upper surface of which is worked flat to form a mounting surface 11. A backplate 5 having a mounting hole disposed therein to correspond to the inserting hole 12 is mounted on the inner surface of the main header 1 through an adhesive. Then, a screw thread 33 on the tip of a joint member 3 inserted in an O-ring 4 is engaged threadingly with the screw thread 51 of the backplate 5 to fasten tight a lock nut 31 for placing fixedly the joint member 3 in intimate with the main header 1. Thereafter, a union nut 21 is pivoted through a packing 24 to connect a copper tube 2 to the main header 1 by letting the screw thread provided on the inner surface of the nut 21 engaged threadingly with the screw thread 32 on the upper surface of the joint member 3.</p> |
