PURPOSE:To safely and rapidly charge liquid CO2 in the deep sea in a liquid state by a method wherein a lid member is closed after a movable plug is inserted into long pipe and liquid CO2 is introduced into the long pipe through a liquid CO2 introducing pipe to push down the movable plug along the long pipe and liquid CO2 is charged into the deep sea from the lower end opening of the long pipe along with the movable plug. CONSTITUTION:At first, a plug stop valve 7 is fully closed and the opening and closing lid 1 of a movable plug insertion part 3 is opened and, after a movable plug 2 is inserted into a long charging pipe 4, the plug stop valve 7 is opened and liquid CO2 is introduced into the long charging pipe 4 from the upper end of the plug insertion part 3 through a plug pushing-out line 13 to pass the movable plug 2 through the plug stop valve 7 to push up the same along the long charging pipe 4. At this time, after the movable plug 2 is passed through the branch part of a branch pipe 6, a branch valve 8 is opened and a valve 12 is closed to introduce liquid CO2 into the charging pipe 4 continuously to push down the movable plug 2 through the long charging pipe 4. By this constitution, liquid CO2 is allowed to fall to the deep sea with depth of 3000m from the lower end opening of the long charging pipe 4 along with the movable plug 2. |
