PURPOSE:To lengthen the service life of an ozone eliminating member so as to prevent ozone gas of high concentration from flowing outside an image forming device surely and stably over a long period of time by providing dust collecting filters on the upstream and downstream sides from the ozone eliminating member. CONSTITUTION:When an exhaust fan 1 is operated, an impressing device 7 is also turned on, and ozone and air containing dust in a printer body is successively discharged outside from exhaust holes 6 through a dust collecting filter 2, an ozone eliminating member 3, a dust collecting filter 2' and an ozone eliminating member 3' by the rotation of the exhaust fan 1. The dust in the exhaust air is attracted by the electric force onto the hole wall and eliminated in the dust collecting filters 2, 2', and ozone is eliminated by the ozone eliminating members 3, 3'. That is, after the dust in the exhaust air from an image forming device is eliminated by the dust collecting filter 2 on the upstream side, ozone in the exhaust air is eliminated by the ozone eliminating member 3, and the dust remaining without being eliminated by the dust collecting filter 2 on the upstream side is eliminated by the dust collecting filter 2' on the downstream side. |
