The security binding disclosed is of the type comprising, for each element cooperating with the boot, a base (2) linked to the board; a boot carrier plate (4) provided with means for holding the boot and pivotingly mounted to the base (2); means (5) for elastically holding the plate (4) on the base (2) and releasing the plate when an adjustable strain value is exceeded; hydraulic means which are responsive to release of the spring retainer means (5), connected to a hydraulic circuit (27) leading to similar means of the other element. According to the invention, in each element, the hydraulic means (5) sensitive to the release of the spring retainer means are comprised of a sealed, resilient reservoir (25), forming with the reservoir of the other element and the reservoir interconnection pipe (27), a closed, leakproof hydraulic circuit drained of air and in hydrostatic equilibrium.
