PURPOSE:To provide manufacture of an oxide superconductive wire rod wherein random production and growth of a crystal are suppressed through suppression of the generation of oxygen gas during partial melting and excellent critical current density is provided. CONSTITUTION:Under a condition that, after a raw material for manufacturing an oxide superconductive wire rod is heated under some oxygen partial pressure and the temperature thereof is increased to a value lower than a partial melt temperature curve, temperature is kept at a constant value or sharply changed, an oxygen partial pressure is lowered to a region higher than the partial melt temperature curve and transferred to partial melt state. Under a condition that temperature is kept at a constant value or slightly changed, orientation coagulation is carried out by increasing the oxygen partial pressure to a region lower than the partial melting temperature curve. |
