The garment (1), made from a non-waterproof material such as wool, has a pouch (4) which holds a folded waterproof over-garment which is connected to the pouch at at least one point. The over-garment (2) incorporates a hood (4), and when it is deployed it covers the whole garment, including the pouch, and is made in the form of an anorak with sleeves or a cape without sleeves, made from a microporous material. When the main garment is a pair of trousers, the pouch for the over-garment is situated at the waist. Both the pouch and the over-garment are fastened by sliding clasp fasteners.
