A wheelchair attachment 1 comprises an adjustable bracket 1a, 1b, 1c. Bracket parts 1a and 1b are fitted to mountings W1 and W2, which are already fitted on legs L1 and L2 of wheelchair W. Panel 1c bridges parts 1a and 1b. Legs 11 to 14 of brackets 1a and 1b locate in grooves 10 in panel 1c; the width of the bracket is adjusted by sliding, and set by tightening screws 15. A wheelchair accessory A, for example a leg support cushion, can be fitted to part 1c. Mountings W1 and W2 are effectively reproduced in bracket parts 1a, 1b, so that a leg support S, normally fitted to mountings W1, W2 can now be fitted to bracket parts 1a, 1b even though wheelchair accessory A has been fitted to the wheelchair. <IMAGE> |
