PURPOSE:To easily, simply and inexpensively produce an uneven colorant sheet by superposing a monochromatic sheet on a transfer sheet and bonding both sheets under heating and pressure to transfer rectangular monochromatic colorant membranes to the transfer sheet in a predetermined number of different colors. CONSTITUTION:A monochromatic sheet 12 wherein two or more kinds of monochromatic colorant membranes 1b having different colors are provided on a support 20 is superposed on a transfer sheet 14 wherein a thermal release layer 24 is laminated on a support 22 and the superposed monochromatic sheet 12 and transfer sheet 14 are bonded under heating and pressure by a heat roller 18. The monochromatic colorant membranes 16 are transferred to the transfer sheet 14 in a rectangular shape having a predetermined dimension from the monochromatic sheet 12. By this constitution, an uneven colorant sheet can be easily and inexpensively produced by an apparatus simple in constitution. Therefore, a special and expensive uneven coating machine becomes unnecessary and the initial investment cost in the production of the uneven colorant sheet can be reduced. |
