PURPOSE:To enable holding of a neutral position of a shift lever in a second shift path and obtain regulation feeling by providing a roller which engages with a top of a guide portion in the shape of character V at the neutral position when the shift lever is in the second shift path. CONSTITUTION:When a shift lever 22 in a first shift path is moved into a second shift path for manual gear shift operation, a roller 110 in d detent pin conjunction member 62 of the shift lever 22 is engaged with a top section 112 of a guide portion in the shape of character V in an immobile member 13 due to energizing force of a spring, and the shift lever 22 is held at a neutral position in the second shift path. Then, the shift lever 22 in the second shift path is operated by moving the lever toward a shift up gear shift position or a shift down gear shift position. After that, force for operating the shift lever 22 is drawn, the roller 110 returns to the top 112 of the guide portion in the shape of character V due to energizing force of the spring to hold the shift lever 22 at the neutral position. Consequently, the shift lever 22 in the second shift path is held at the neutral position and regulation feeling is obtained. |
