TAMPON WITH PROTECTIVE FINGER SHEATH AND ITS FORMING

PURPOSE: To present a sanitary tampon with a protective sheath and a method for forming thereof CONSTITUTION: A tampon 24 comprises an absorbing pledget 26 having an insertion end and a rear end. A cover 14 fixed to an absorbing body at least partially contains a pledget 26 to make the pledget not to separate from the cover 14. The cover 14 is formed as a flexible sheath, and extends over the rear end of the pledget 26. A sheath 28 is formed in a size sufficient to accept and surround a user's finger.
