<p>The telephone installation comprises a plurality of fixed telephone sets (TT-i), a telephone communication network (RTC), and fixed connection and management means (MFG), having direct connection means (AD) to the telephone communication network (RTC). Reduced flow rate elementary transmission lines (LE-i) are each arranged between a fixed telephone set and the fixed connection and management means, if necessary through a grouping unit. The fixed connection means comprise a plurality of coding/decoding means (20-i) for restoring and reciprocally receiving the elementary voice (BE-i) and signalling (Dei) channels; multiplexing/demultiplexing means between the plurality of elementary voice channels; and means (40) for receiving the elementary signalling channels in order to control access to the communication network.</p> |
