<p>The base includes a hollow aerial section (1) with a fixed insert (3) for a rod antenna, and a base plate (4) which is flush with a vehicle body panel (5). A flexible threaded section (7) protrudes from the panel. A nut (29) screws around the threaded section and tightens against a spring section which separates the nut from the car body. A box section (2) holds a side mounted cable insert and IF connections, and is held in place by tightening the nut. <IMAGE></p> |
