<p>A compound represented by general formula (I) and salts thereof, wherein R1 represents benzimidazolyl or imidazolyl; R2 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl; R3 represents lower alkyl, mercapto-lower-alkyl wherein the mercapto group may be protected, or phenyl-lower-alkyl wherein the phenyl group may be substituted by one or more alkyl groups, optionally protected hydroxy, lower alkoxy or lower alkylenedioxy, provided R?2 and R3¿ may be combined together to represent a pyrrolidine ring; R4 represents carboxy which may be in the form of an ester or amide group; and A?1 and A2¿ represent each independently lower alkylene. The compound has an excellent medicinal effect on uveitis and is useful as a remedy for immunopathy.</p> |
