Removal of mould stains from shower curtains and other fabrics

An organic solvent (eg. isopropyl acetate) solution carries as an essential ingredient, a compound (eg. trichloroisocyanuric acid) which will react with water after it has been deposited from solution upon and within the weave of a fabric which has become contaminated with mould stains, even when that fabric has been water-proofed, as in the case of a shower curtain. Reaction with water results in the liberation of an agent whose bleaching action results in the effective removal of the stains.
