PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin bead form and surface melt molding method thereof wherein a member molded indephendently for a surface layer to obtain flaw-resistance and stiffness, and a decorative material such as a cloth or the like to obtain design are not required to be stuck to the surface nor applied thereon. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic resin beam is a simple material, and a foamed layer 1 and a non-formed layer 2 on its surface are formed. The surface melt molding method of the thermoplastic resin beam foam is a surface melt molding method wherein a formed layer is pressurized with a heated metal plate or a heated mold, or its surface is melted by foaming force to form a non-foamed layer on the surface of the foamed layer. Besides, by using a metal mold wherein an irregularity for transferring a design such as constriction or the like to the surface of the bead foam or the mold, the non-foamed layer is formed on the surface, and besides the design of the constriction or the like is transferred. |
