<p>PURPOSE:To estimate an ATM cell abort rate by obtaining a distribution of possibility of ATM cell abort rates obtained by an ATM cell abort rate calcula tion means based on the result of observation. CONSTITUTION:A coincidence arithmetic section 100 has a function obtaining coincidence P<(i)> between a fuzzy set P<(i)> of a premises part oaf a rule (i) and a fuzzy set P' of the premises part corresponding to a fact. The coincidence P<(i)> being an output of the coincidence arithmetic section 100 is given to a fuzzy set weighting average processing section 101 and a fuzzy set Q<(i)> of a consequent part of the rule (i) is given to the processing section 101. The processing section 101 receiving the inputs obtains a weighting means between the fuzzy sets by using the coincidence P<(i)> as a weight to the fuzzy set Q<(i)> to output a fuzzy set Q' being the final reference result. That is, the possibility distribution of ATM cell abort rates obtained by observation is obtained to obtain an upper limit of an ATM cell abort rate obtained by the observation of the preceding processing.</p> |
