摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent the abrasion of a sidewall and the stain of a magnetic tape and a magnetic head by abrasion by forming the sidewall guiding a slider of an abrasion-resistant material. CONSTITUTION: An opening 3 for inserting a magnetic-tape cassette is formed on the front shield plate of a magnetic-tape cassette device. When a sidewall 11 guiding a slider for a magnetic head of the opening 3 is formed of an abrasion-resistant material, the abrasion of the wall 11 by an edge on the front side of the slider is prevented. A stain generated in a magnetic tape and a magnetic head by abrasive powder can be obviated by simple constitution.
